Main Events
Bishop's Waltham
in Bloom

In 1997, the inaugural year of the Southern England in Bloom event, we achieved the runners-up position in the small town category.

Then in 1998 we gained a first in the Hampshire Best Kept Village Competition. Further successes have followed.

Bishop's Waltham Festival
Founded in 1995 the objectives were to promote pride in the community and provide local entertainment. With an arts and music bias the festival is host to choirs, bands, art exhibitions and jazz concerts.
Town Twinning
Since 1987, Bishop's Waltham has been twinned with the French town of
St Bonnet-le-Chateau, which is located in the Loire region.
Friendship between the two, similarly sized towns, continues to grow with the exchange of visits by both young and adult visitors.
